Where we ride is up to those who come ride  Grin Glad to hear that you will be one of them ! So far Dan and I are talking family ride for sure with a cookout. I am bringing the Ranger, grill,  and wife. Joal is coming with Margaret and the dogs. If we had an expert fossil guy there, (hint) we could certainly do that as part of the ride. Maybe even some metal detecting?

I have never been on one of these club rides, but think I will this time. Be good to finally meet some of you.  I will try to locate you at slipper lake parking lot.

I will be there. If the Slipper Lk. area is muddy, I will park in the old gravel pit at the end of the pavement and ATV up to Slipper in plenty of time for a 10:00 am launch.

I'll be there, most likely at the far end of Slipper Lake.  Mostly, my day is intended for fossil hunting.  I want to find more fossilized meta-sequoia pine cones and seed pods.  The trails (slash - more proper roads ) to travel on for the family are further up Jonesville Road on the other mountain, where you would find the start of the Eska Falls Trail.  Anybody that wants to go fossil hunting is more than welcome to tag along!  Its only five minutes away from the trucks, that is, if it has not been closed off to us pirates!  If so, I will hunt for fresh water snails and fossilized flowers along the stair stepped cliffs.
See you guys there in the morning.

We had a good ride up to Wishbone Lake with eight machines. Much water in deep ruts but that is normal for this trail. the trail has overgrown quite a bit with overhanging branches. Stopped at Moose Creek for a break also and it appeared to be in crossable condition.
Waiting for pics from Dianne. Grin
